How Aria Works

Creators go live by creating a space in the app. There are four types of spaces, each designed for different kinds of conversations.

Private Rooms are invite-only conversations for 2 to 10 people. Everyone can speak. These use a campfire layout where all participants are equal.

Public Campfires are open rooms that anyone can join. Everyone can speak. These are ideal for casual hangouts and open community discussion.

Public Sessions use a stage layout with designated speakers and an audience of listeners. Anyone can join for free. Listeners can raise their hand to request to speak.

Subscriber Sessions are the same stage layout, but access is limited to subscribers. Creators set their own subscription price. Monetization details coming soon.

AI Features

Live Captions. On-device speech recognition provides real-time captions during any session. Captions are processed locally on your device and are never sent to a server.

Session Summaries. After a session ends, Aria generates an AI summary capturing key topics and moments. For sessions in languages other than English, bilingual summaries are produced in both English and the session's original language.

Content Moderation. AI-powered moderation runs in real time to keep conversations safe. This works alongside human reporting and host moderation controls.

Smart Discovery. AI-driven topic tagging and recommendations help listeners find sessions and creators matching their interests.

Creator Economics

Aria is built around creator-first economics. No hidden fees, no complicated tiers, and no conditions. Payments will be processed through web checkout to avoid app store commissions, so more money goes directly to creators. Details on the earnings split, pricing, and payouts will be announced when the monetization program launches.

If a creator is inactive for 30 days, subscriber billing pauses automatically. Subscribers are never charged while the creator is away.
