Beta Tester Agreement

Effective: March 6, 2026

This Beta Tester Agreement ("Agreement") governs your participation in the Aria beta testing program ("Beta Program"). By submitting a beta tester application and checking the agreement box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

This Agreement is between you ("Tester," "you") and Aria ("we," "us," "our") and supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply to your use of Aria.

1. Pre-Release Software

You understand and acknowledge that:

• The Aria app provided through TestFlight is pre-release software that is still under active development.
• The app may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features that could cause unexpected behavior, crashes, or data loss.
• Features available during the beta may change, be removed, or work differently in the final release.
• Aria requires iOS 26.1 or later on a compatible iPhone (iPhone 11 or later).
• We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or data persistence during the beta period.

2. TestFlight and Apple

The Beta Program is distributed through Apple's TestFlight platform. By participating, you also agree to Apple's TestFlight Terms and Conditions. We use your Apple ID email solely to send you a TestFlight invitation. We do not access your Apple account or any data associated with it beyond what TestFlight provides (crash reports and usage data as described in Apple's TestFlight documentation).

3. Confidentiality

During the beta period, you may have access to features, designs, and functionality that have not been publicly released. You agree to:

• Not publicly share screenshots, screen recordings, or detailed descriptions of unreleased features without our written permission.
• Not disclose technical details about how the app works internally.
• Direct any media or press inquiries about Aria to hello@aria-live.app.

You may share that you are a beta tester, discuss your general experience, and share feedback with us through the channels we provide. We value transparency — we just ask that you let us announce new features on our own timeline.

4. Feedback and Contributions

We deeply value your feedback. When you provide feedback, bug reports, feature suggestions, or other input ("Feedback"), you agree that:

• We may use your Feedback to improve Aria without restriction or obligation to you.
• Your Feedback does not create any intellectual property rights for you in the product.
• You are not entitled to compensation for Feedback, though we recognize testers' contributions (see Section 8).

We encourage you to submit Feedback through TestFlight's built-in feedback mechanism (shake your device or go to the TestFlight app) or any other channels we provide.

5. Data We Collect

In addition to what is described in our Privacy Policy, during the beta period we may collect:

• Application data: The information you provide in your tester application (name, email, Apple ID email, device info, and your responses).
• TestFlight analytics: Crash reports, app usage statistics, and performance metrics as provided by Apple's TestFlight platform.
• Feedback data: Bug reports, feature requests, and other feedback you submit.

We use this data to improve the app, prioritize fixes, and communicate with you about the beta. We do not sell your data. For full details on data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Your Responsibilities

As a beta tester, you agree to:

• Provide honest, constructive feedback when you encounter issues or have suggestions.
• Follow our Community Guidelines when interacting with other users in the app.
• Treat other testers, users, and the Aria team with respect and courtesy.
• Report security vulnerabilities responsibly and privately to security@aria-live.app rather than sharing them publicly.
• Keep your TestFlight app and iOS version reasonably up to date to receive the latest beta builds.
• Not use the beta access for competitive analysis or to develop a competing product.

7. Our Commitments to You

We believe beta testing is a relationship built on mutual respect. We commit to:

• Transparency: We will be open about what data we collect, how we use it, and what we're working on.
• Respect: We will treat you as a valued contributor to Aria's development, not as free labor.
• Communication: We will keep you informed about major updates, known issues, and the status of the beta program.
• Privacy: We will handle your personal information with care, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
• Responsiveness: We will acknowledge your Feedback and take it seriously in our development process.

8. Recognition

We value the time and effort you invest in making Aria better. Beta testers who actively participate and provide meaningful feedback will be recognized as founding testers when Aria launches publicly. The specific form of recognition will be communicated to active testers before launch.

9. Voluntary Participation

Participation in the Beta Program is entirely voluntary and unpaid. You may stop testing at any time by simply uninstalling the app or letting your TestFlight access expire. There is no minimum time commitment, though we appreciate consistent engagement.

10. Termination

Either party may end participation in the Beta Program at any time:

• You may leave by uninstalling Aria or contacting us at support@aria-live.app.
• We may revoke beta access if you violate this Agreement, our Terms of Service, or our Community Guidelines, or if we end the Beta Program entirely.

Upon termination, the confidentiality obligations in Section 3 remain in effect for any unreleased features you had access to during the beta.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aria is not liable for any damages arising from your participation in the Beta Program, including but not limited to data loss, device issues, or service interruptions. The beta software is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind.

12. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify active beta testers via email. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
