General
What is Aria?
Aria is a live audio platform. You host a Room for a few people or a Session for an audience and talk live. Live captions run on your device, an AI Summary is written when the session ends, and real-time moderation protects every session. There are four space types. Creator monetization is coming soon. Learn more on our What Is Aria? page.
How do I get early access?
Aria is currently in beta on iOS via TestFlight. You can apply for early access on our beta page. You'll need an iPhone 11 or later running iOS 26.1 or later. If you have an invite code from an existing user, you'll get access faster. You can also join the waitlist and we'll notify you when Aria is available on the App Store.
What platforms is Aria available on?
Aria is an iOS app, currently in beta via TestFlight. There is no Android or web client at this time.
What does Aria cost?
Aria is in beta on TestFlight and joining the beta is by application. Subscriber-only sessions will require a subscription to the creator. Pricing and monetization details come with launch. See Pricing for more information.
Space Types
What are the four space types?
Private Room. An invite-only campfire conversation for 2 to 10 people. Everyone can speak. Perfect for close friends and collaborators.
Public Campfire. An open room where anyone can join and speak. Great for casual hangouts and community building.
Public Session. A stage-style event with designated speakers and listeners. Free and open to everyone.
Subscriber Session. An exclusive stage session accessible only to subscribers. Creators set their own price.
What is the difference between a room and a session?
Rooms use a campfire layout where all participants can speak freely. Sessions use a stage layout with designated speakers and an audience. Rooms are casual and social; sessions are structured and can be monetized.
Creator Earnings
How much do creators earn?
Aria is committed to creator-first economics with a simple, transparent split. No hidden fees and no complicated tier structures. Details on the earnings split and payment processing will be announced when the monetization program launches.
How do payments work?
Details on payment processing and payouts will be announced when monetization launches.
What are the requirements to start earning?
To monetize, creators need Creator Mode enabled, an established audience, and compliance with our Community Guidelines. Full requirements will be announced when monetization launches. See the Creator Agreement for more information.
What happens if a creator takes a break?
After 30 days of inactivity, subscriber billing pauses automatically. Subscribers are not charged while the creator is away, and billing resumes when the creator goes live again.
What are Interest Signals?
Interest Signals are non-monetary engagement actions that listeners can send during sessions. They carry no money. Aria does not have virtual currency of any kind. The only earnings mechanism is subscriptions.
AI Voice Agents
Will there be AI voice agents on Aria?
Next up. You will be able to invite AI voices into your Room. They know their subject, they are always labelled, and it is always your call.
AI Features
What other AI features does Aria offer?
Aria includes:
- Live Captions. On-device speech recognition provides real-time captions during sessions.
- Session Summaries. AI-generated summaries with chapters and key moments, written in the session's spoken language.
- Live Topic Detection. Aria tracks what's being discussed in real time, so latecomers see what they missed.
- Content Moderation. Real-time AI moderation keeps conversations safe and respectful.
- Smart Discovery. AI-driven topic tagging and recommendations help listeners find sessions by interest.
Are live captions available in all sessions?
Yes. Live captions are powered by on-device speech recognition, so they work in all session types. Captions are processed locally on your device and are not sent to any server.
How do AI summaries work?
After a session ends, Aria generates an AI summary that captures the key topics and moments discussed. Summaries are written in the session's spoken language. Summaries are available in your library.
Moderation & Safety
How does content moderation work?
Aria uses AI-powered content moderation that runs in real time during live sessions. This works alongside human reporting tools available to all users. Session hosts also have moderation controls to mute participants or remove disruptive users. See our Community Guidelines for details on expected behavior.
How do I report someone?
You can report users and content directly in the app during or after a session. For urgent safety concerns, email safety@aria-live.app. See our Appeals Process if you believe a moderation decision was made in error.
Privacy & Account
What data does Aria collect?
Aria collects your profile information, audio during live sessions (not stored after the session ends unless recorded), chat messages, and usage data to improve the service. Live captions are processed on-device and never leave your phone. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, connections, subscriptions, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone. Active subscriptions will be canceled and refunded per the Subscriber Agreement.
Comparisons
What makes Aria different from other live audio platforms?
Aria is built for live conversation with real people. Live captions on your device, an AI Summary after every session, real-time topic detection, recording protection and real-time moderation are built in from the start, not added on. Creator economics are simple and creator-first.
